Kirchenwirt Aigen

The traditional hotel on the River Enns Cycle Trail

In the heart of Aigen im Ennstal not far from the River Enns Cycle Trail, lies the Kirchenwirt, a traditional hotel run by the Fritz family. It has accommodated guests for over 150 years. The Kirchenwirt has a fantastic team dedicated to the goals of making our customers feel at home and ensuring they are satisfied. In order to fulfil every need to the highest level, the hotel was renovated in 2011. There is now a new hall and restaurant area with a terrace, as well as 21 comfort rooms and seven remaining standard rooms.

The inviting atmosphere of the Kirchenwirt is ideal for festivities of all kinds. The sophisticated hall can be flexibly divided to accommodate the number of guests perfectly. If required, the indoor area can be expanded to include the adjoining terrace. The fact is constructed as a conservatory means it can be used whatever the weather.

Imaginative creations from the Kirchenwirt kitchen are sure to set your heart racing. The Kirchenwirt places great value on using fresh products as the basis for typical, regional cuisine. The owners of the Kirchenwirt are very proud of their kitchen’s AMA seal of quality. A speciality that has a long tradition at the Kirchenwirt is “Stoa’n Essen” (Cooking on Hot Stones). Each guest is given a hot stone on which to cook selected meats and other delicacies. You can order “Stoa’n Essen” in advance (min. 2 persons). We guarantee you’ll love it!
