Hikers love the region and its rolling hills in the west and the 1,800 m Höllengebirge mountains in the south. The lake is also easy to reach from the Roman Cycle Trail and the Salzkammergut Cycle Trail. Since 2012, Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park has covered 77 m2 between the Attersee holiday region and the waters of the Traunsee. Water provides recreation, strength and energy, while the landscape provides idyllic challenges. On the Attersee landscape dreams become an unforgettable experience!
